The children are our future!!!

Who are we?

When Fleming Fons Van Craen was visiting the south of the Philippines, he was touched by the problems street-children and poor children have to try to go - or to go to school. After a while he decided, together with his sisters Greet and Linda and his daughter Sandra, to found a non-profit association to try to help these children. So...in spring of 2003 VaCaPa Kinderplan VZW was born!

Our home is Leuven in Belgium (Europe). Our second home (residence) is Cagayan de Oro City in the north of the southern island Mindanao in the Philippines (Asia).

What is the object of our organization?

to help for free (unselfish) the children in the Philippines by collecting financial aid and clothes.
to inform the people about the situation of these children in the Philippines.

What are the objects of our program?

We support the children by:

giving financial assistance for a scholarship (school-fees, transportation from and to the school, school-uniform, and so on).
caring about them by giving food, clothes, medical support, advice, financial aid, and so on.

To let a child go to a government school you need for every school year at least:

100 € a year for a elementary student.
150 € a year for a secondary student.

Who we support?

Push on this school year and you know who we support at this moment.

At the moment the project needs 200.580 PHP (Philippine Peso), ongeveer 3340 EUR, a year, without counting the unexpected medical - and other expenses for the children in the Philippines.

There are still children, who wants to go to school, but who we can't help now. They need also support. If you help VaCaPa Kinderplan VZW, the foundation can enlarge (expand) her project!
