Cagayan de Oro City

Our second home is Cagayan de Oro City in the north of the southern island Mindanao. Mindanao is the 2th largest island of Philippines. Mt Apo (2954 m), the highest mountain of Philippines, dominates the island. Cagayan de Oro City is also a university town. You can reach the city by boat and airplane.

Del Monte has pineapple plantations about 35 km north and east of the city. There are pineapples as far as the eye can see.
